Activities The Medina Wildwood Lake KOA offers a wide variety of regular activities to keep the whole family occupied while you're there. We have themed weekends that, in addition to the normal activities, may make your visit even more enjoyable. On the weekends, Medina Wildwood Lake KOA offers organized and themed events. The planned events include children's crafts, cartoons and coloring, ice cream socials, bingo, movie evenings, field games, and more. Great outdoors, retro, Halloween / trick-or-treating, chocolate, beach party, firefighters appreciation, and more are just a few of the themed weekends available. Visitors at the Medina Koa campground also have the unique opportunity to visit and taste wines from the Leonard Oakes Estate Winery. Amenities at Medina Koa campground include a well-stocked market, picnic tables, A.D.A. accessibility, firewood availability, phone service, showers, and toilets. All sites are pull-through sites and are big-rig friendly, which is always an added advantage for those who own large campers. Rules and Regulations The campsite includes all the facilities and activities one would expect from a KOA, including golf carts. Individual golf carts are accepted. Headlights must be functional on all carts. On campsite grounds, only licensed drivers are permitted to use carts. Carts with three wheels, two engines, or a noisy motor are exceptions that are not allowed. At registration, insurance documentation is necessary. There is a $10 per night fee for using any personal golf carts on campsite grounds. The tag needs to be seen often. Visitors must sign up in person at the Kampstore with a registered camper. Kampstore has listed additional costs. Rules for the campground are provided to guests. It should be noted that according to the rules, at 10:00 PM, visitor permits expire. Visitors are reminded that it is against the law to drive while intoxicated. There is no lifeguard or responsible person on duty to watch over the swimming area or any other amenities at Medina Wildwood Lake KOA. This facility has devised several protections that all visitors and guests must adhere to in place of on-site supervision. Accidents may be avoided, and everyone has a duty to keep others safe. Please inform the authorities immediately if you observe any issues with the water's quality or a lack of safety gear. Five mph is the tightly enforced speed limit at Medina Koa campground. Duly licensed drivers may only use any motorized vehicle within the Campground. A car pass must always be visible. When presenting evidence of insurance, campers or campers with medical needs may use their golf carts. No drinking while inebriated, driving while intoxicated or driving recklessly. It is also important to note that no ATVs are allowed on the campsite. Campfires When it comes to lighting fires, they are allowed only in fire rings, which must be set up far from any vegetation. Never let a fire burn unattended, and all fires must be put out by midnight. The management disclaims any liability for damage caused by acts of nature, theft, accidents, and fire. No Firewood Outdoors: The N.Y.S. D.E.C. regulation banning the import of firewood to the Campground will be carefully enforced due to the risk of illness and invasive insects. The Campground will impose a $150 fee for any violations of this law. Place any leftover firewood in the container near the campground's entrance. The General Store offers firewood for sale. Pets Pets must always be on a leash. Critters are not permitted in buildings, playgrounds, or pool areas. Never leave them alone; if your pet is on a leash outdoors at the site, you must be there in person. Dogs that are hostile or very vocal are not allowed at the management's discretion (please ask if unsure). No large dogs such as rottweilers or pit bulls are allowed, and pet waste must be removed. Each of the aforementioned infractions carries a $25 fine, and management has the right to remove tenants without notice if problems repeat. At check-in, rabies certificates must be shown. Visitors are not allowed to bring dogs; only registered overnight guests are allowed to do so. Fees and Costs A full non-refundable stay deposit is needed to secure a cabin. A full stay deposit, which is not refundable, is needed to secure a super deluxe or deluxe patio site. Regular sites require a one-night deposit to reserve.
